Oh Dear, Mongolia.

July 2, 2008 – 8:04 am

1st July 08:
The president of Mongolia has declared a four-day state of emergency in the capital amid violent protests over claims the general election was rigged.

Crowds torched the HQ of Mongolia’s governing party - the former Communists - and attacked a police station.

Over 60 people were hurt - around half of them police - as officers used tear gas, rubber bullets and water cannon against stone-throwing protestors.

The unrest went on into the night, with reports of bank robberies and looting.

Rioters set fire to the Cultural Palace, home to a theatre, museum and national art gallery in the capital, Ulan Bator.

Looks like the Illuminati have new Mongolian Members…

2nd July 08:
At least four people have died in violent protests in the Mongolian capital over alleged electoral fraud, officials and state media say.

At least 130 police and protesters were wounded, and hundreds are said to have been detained in Ulan Bator.

“If most people voted for us why did we lose? We lost because… corrupt people changed the results,” he said.

This is the fifth election since Mongolia adopted wide-ranging economic and politic reform in 1990.

Before that, its government was modelled on that of the neighbouring Soviet Union.

Human nature is amazing some times:

People riot over something as above.
People riot over food  prices [Somalia Food Riots].
Islamic people [with swords n' daggers] riot over a TEDDY BEAR [Teddy Bear Riot]
Christians and such “demonstrate” to stop the Afghan/Iraq war.

There’s two ways of looking at it: Most people have TOO MUCH TIME on their hands, and secondly we’re the “Smartest species on the planet” - but do we act like it?
